It seems like there's just a subset of people who want to kill all others. What constitutes an "other" changes a little from time to time, though.
Said by people who have never paid attention to animals.
As a fan of being outdoors, I find that there's a pretty significant number of animals minding their own business. Predators are in the minority, after all.
Maybe I'm blessed to have had enough interaction with animals to know they experience emotions just as we do.
Yeah, maybe it's the experience that makes the empathy.
