Lol. The EVs by GM do have Google embedded... The whole system runs on Android. When you buy the care you get 8 free years of Google maps. It's even more embedded with no optionality for carplay, which is why these kits were developed. So in reality they are going further from what you want not closer.
That's such a weird concept compared to Android Auto with... indefinite gmaps? The used car market is about to be a nightmare.
It's because now your car needs a data plan.
