Yeah, I've become a fan of avoiding batteries wherever possible on my regular bike. I want to get a dynamo eventually, but for now the battery powered light will do.

I've had pretty decent luck with battery powered flashlights for bikes, and LED runner vests for visibility on roads! They have a lot longer battery life than they did in the 00s.

Oh yeah, they work just fine, as long as you charge them anyways lol. I just like the idea of never worrying about a battery, ever.
