Studio ghibli movies shows what anime would be like if it wasn't solely made to appeal to horny adolescent boys. I think it's the only Japanese animation I would dare watching with my parents / kids without having to check prior if it got weird shit like in the second panel. I remember my brother begging me to watch the movie "your name" ( or weathering with you? I don't remember ) because it's supposed to be a very well made emotional story. the first ten minutes a boy exchange his body with a girl and vice versa. The first thing the boy does? grope himself. I closed it and re-watched princess mononoke instead.
