NonCredibleDiplomacy
Shitposting about geopolitics, diplomacy, and current events for shits and giggles
Rules
1. Be nice
Do not make personal attacks against each other, call for violence against anyone, or intentionally antagonize people in the comment sections.
2. Explain bad diplomacy takes
If you want to post a non-credible take, it must be from a "credible" source (news article, politician, or military leader) and must have a comment laying out exactly why it's non-credible. Low-hanging fruit such as random Twitter and YouTube comments belong elsewhere.
3. Content must be relevant
Posts must be about international diplomacy. This is not the page to fawn over Youtube personalities, simp over political leaders, or talk about military tactics or equipment. There are other places for that.
4. No racism / hatespeech
No slurs. No advocating for the killing of people or insulting them based on physical, religious, or ideological traits.
5. No politics
We don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Stalinist, Baathist, or some other hot mess. Please leave it at the door. This applies to comments as well.
6. No seriousposting
We don't want your fundraisers, credible news articles, or other such things. The world is already serious enough as it is.
7. No classified material
Classified ‘western’ information is off limits regardless of how "open source" and "easy to find" it is.
8. Source artwork
If you use somebody's art in your post or as your post, the OP must provide a direct link to the art's source in the comment section, or a good reason why this was not possible (such as the artist deleting their account). The source should be a place that the artist themselves uploaded the art. A booru is not a source. A watermark is not a source.
9. No low-effort posts
No egregiously low effort posts. E.g. screenshots, recent reposts, simple reaction & template memes, and images with the punchline in the title.
10. Don't get us banned
No brigading or harassing other communities. Do not post memes with a "haha people that I hate died… haha" punchline or violating the sh.itjust.works rules (below). This includes content illegal in Canada.
11. No misinformation
NonCredibleDiplomacy exists to make fun of misinformation, not to spread it. Make outlandish claims, but if your take doesn’t show signs of satire or exaggeration it will be removed. Misleading content may result in a ban. Regardless of source, don’t post obvious propaganda or fake news. Double-check facts and don't be an idiot.

Guh. They spin harder than a goddamned pulsar. Zelenskyy had incredible restraint to sit through this meeting, what a total waste of his valuable time.
The EU and the world needs to lift one big middle-finger to this administration and support Ukraine in any way possible. The US needs to be shut out in the cold, NOW. Kick them out of NATO. Put Ukraine in their place. EU, throw out the bloody procedural bullshit and just DO IT NOW. Start building tanks and planes and drones and ammo NOW, because the world will need it to stop Russia without the US's help. After Ukraine, it'll be Moldova, then all the other small neighbouring nations, then ...
Don't forget the part about how China has been planning for an isolationist America to push its own territorial ambitions. This is not going to be merely hell in the Baltics, a world war is taking shape as the long peace crumbles.
I wouldn't exactly describe the last decades as 'peace', but ok...
Peaceful enough that apparently people in industrial nations forgot how bad war really is if they elect war mongers like Trump as leaders.
It's a term people have used to describe the state of affairs since the last hot war between major powers.
You will if a war starts like the one /u/gradually_adjusting is talking about
i don't blame China for that though, i haven't seen anything China's done to advance american isolationism, just seems like they had some measure of foresight
China surpassed Russia in internet influence shenanigans years ago.
People just became somewhat aware of Russia's activities because of "Russiagate" and then when Russia invaded Ukraine we started seeing the shilling for Russia.
China saw the success of Russia's operations and stepped up their activities. Also they have TikTok which is a direct line to young people in the West to promote discontent.
young people should probably be discontented thh
They also dont need to go to war to benefit. China as a whole is doing well moving into the future.
I'll help crank it.
