Sadly, there seems to be no space for this playstyle currently at all, which means I can't recommend it to most of my friends (who played Diablo) and they really like the aesthetics and stuff but don't have the time or energy to deal with the complexity.

Does not help that a lot of the community seems to be actively opposed to this playstyle - "git gud" and so on. I personally like the complexity, I like learning the core mechanics of builds and so on but I just can't imagine half of my friends doing the same thing.

I do hope that with updates they will make the Acts little bit easier and less spiky (in difficulty) again for people to just have fun with whatever they slap together as they go (this is about 90% of my 100 hours in PoE1, it's surprisingly easy and fun to make a bonkers character that feels good - for a time).
