fuck that shit. Why the hell should us, the citizens, have to pay extra because of that orange idiot and his sidekick?

Because we didn't do enough to prevent his election

On the bright side, EU imports from the US, much less than the US imports from the EU. If you live in the EU, when was the last time you bought a "Made in America" product?

I'm more worried about tariffs on Chinese products.

That would be "Made in Taiwan".

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrow_Lake_(microprocessor)

Manufactured by

  • Intel
  • TSMC

Fabrication process:

  • TSMC N3B
  • TSMC N5P
  • TSMC N6

That's still Taiwan.

Look at the fabs Intel has:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_manufacturing_sites#Current_fab_sites

Half are development/research, another half is one for each node... except the 3nm they need for Arrow Lake.

We'll see what happens with 18A and Panther Lake, but that's still planned for Q3 2025, and TSMC is not going to stay behind.

My condolences for buying an Intel CPU...

If you don't threaten, tariffs hit and you pay more. If you threaten, he magically remembers what tariffs do and walks it back. At least, one would hope.
