Hopefully it clicks with Isshin soon enough because I'm about to give up so I can stop wasting time on that one game so I can start playing something else!
That's one of the hardest bosses I've ever played. Such a good fight. You need to learn his moves, find the moments you can attack safely in, focus on perfect deflects to build up his posture damage.. He killed me about 60 times and when I finally beat him I absolutely slaughtered him, it wasn't even close.
