It certainly works for my lawnmower, snow blower, and power tools. If it can scale up to vehicle batteries, it would make EVs viable in endurance motorsports as well, with a pit stop for battery swaps, instead of a whole car swap.

Precisely. And long distance drives. Refuelling in 3 minutes would no longer be exclusive to diesel/petrol.
