Latest outburst comes as his push to rebrand the emerging technology increasingly falls flat

Donald Trump on Thursday opened up a new front in his ongoing war against commonly used terms and geographic names by warning that anyone referring to Large Language Models such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Anthropic’s Claude as “Artificial Intelligence” would earn themselves a place on his enemies list.

Writing on Truth Social, he declared that the White House “considers anyone that uses the term, ‘Artificial Intelligence,’ as opposed to the highly accepted new and more accurate term, ‘Super Intelligence,’ THE ENEMY!”

The president’s outburst-cum-veiled threat landed just over a week after he signed an executive order directing executive branch agencies to begin referring to artificial intelligence, which is now embedded across the federal government, as “super intelligence” following a lunch with leaders in the AI industry, including Elon Musk, Sundar Pichai, Dario Amodei and others.

Instead of “artificial intelligence” or “super intelligence", how about “Trump-like intelligence”?

Everyone can read into that whatever implications they want.

Trump Intelligence, Trump gas prices, Trump ICE murders. Put his name all over everything. In gold.

Sub intelligence

Tbh, when the news of "super intelligence" first came out, I was surprised he didn't just called it "Trump intelligence" or "america intelligence"

Wonder if he'll be dumb enough to fight Apple as well who calls it AI, using the name Apple Intelligence since iOS 18. It got a lot more Integrated with their latest OS's but I don't see them throwing away the name Apple Intelligence so quickly after putting the name in over a billion devices.

This whole thing is distraction from what he is doing to steal the election, because of high oil prices because what he did to Iran to distract from Epstein files.

I really hate what US media have became. They purposefully report that crap so they don't have to report on things that actually matters.

This is also ignoring the whole OpenAI thing. Are they gonna change they're name or be "the enemy"

With the kind of greedy pussies that run these outfits, who knows. I could totally seeing them bending the knee because donnie dumbass had a brainfart the one day.

It's weird to live in these times. On the one hand, we are having breakthrough after breakthrough on so many levels. Things are definitely trending in the right direction on so many things over the decades. We may be on the brink of some really incredible progress in so many technological and scientific things.

But then we get a total dipshit like this in the WH, ruining just about everything. And he's just impossibly stupid.

They've already bent the knee. GN has a super cut of all the AI bros correcting themselves and using SI.
