No matter if you have one or multiple fursonas (animal-based or not) or are just here to enjoy the artworks, all are welcome and respected here.
Rules
- Don’t be an asshole. While disagreements are normal in a discussions, personal attacks and harassment are going to be removed.
- Mark NSFW posts accordingly. Porn and nudity must not be posted here (we have dedicated communities for this kind of content).
- When posting artwork, cite the source and name the author. If possible with links to their socials. If the original source is unknown, at least link to the source where you got the image from.
- AI content is not welcome.
- You can still post discussions about it if the topic is something you consider important for the community.
- If you think something is AI, point it out (comment + report); but don't accuse someone of slopposting without a valid reason.

The economy definitely makes it tough to find a job at the moment! Your friends' experience with unsuccessful job-hunting sounds very familiar. The new direction is working for a local government and basically being the person you talk to to get licences, permits, and other documents like that. It's pretty much a dead end in terms of career (you can move horizontally but not vertically, I guess), but it sounds chill, pays well enough, has high job security, and sounds a lot better than making money for random corporations (most of my current options include some form of marketing, which I hate)
If you are prepared for boredom interrupted by dealing with upset customers (or whatever the term for them is in government context) then it is a chill job indeed which is unlikely to get replaced by technology soon. And I think payment is adjusted to inflation now and then (well, depending on the country), so you don't have to be good at salary negotiations, which is another plus.
