A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

I'm with you but with disability. I'm too disabled to work consistent full hours and sometimes I don't have enough for rent, but I want to work and have a profession. However, the income and asset caps make it so that I literally have to stop working completely and get evicted to qualify (roughly $1600 a month, $2000 in total assets). So it seems like disability "benefits" are just a trap to become a punching bag for the kinda people that want to point and complain about "lazy welfare queens".
One of the most depressing parts is that even with the draconian enrollment requirements, the welfare system you're under is still critically underfunded and gives out all the money it has. It's absolutely insane how welfare is structured, regardless of country (fucking hell, I have disabled brit friends and somehow it's actually worse than the US. I mean, how the fuck do you manage that??)
On the UK, where do you think your Protestant work ethic came from along with all its adjacent problems? Basically us and the Dutch.
