Also, early morning before anyone wakes up is good too. Especially for gaming.

My problem with that is the more or less definitive time at which that ends (when everybody else wakes up). Staying up all night is much more open-ended, and better suits my natural resistance to having to do what the rest of the world expects of me (a resistance which gets stronger the more tired I get).

I would prefer this, but there's too many late night activities that society demands of me.
