You could attach a tent to extend the back. The whole point of this design is the CAD files are open for anyone to make third party addons. Slate encourages this.

The second one slides out in a nested design. The more they sell, the bigger the aftermarket.

was unaware they had CAD models open to the public. How did you get them? I don't see them published on their site.
