I thought BC was backwards and liberal party was to the right of conservative party?

NDP is center-left, BC Liberals were center-right (later renamed to BC United, then didn't run last election), and the BC Conservatives are turning out to be far-right, which a lot of the former BC United who joined them are regretting.
