In light of recent events, lets make a list of trustworthy manufacturers of guitar strings. Bonus points if they are from a full democracy according to the Economists democracy index. I'll start with:
-Ibanez (Japan)
-Rotosound (UK)

I've always used Ernie Ball Super Slinkys on my electrics, and now I'm afraid to try anything else. They've always been great.

I try different things on my acoustics, usually Dadarrios, but sometimes Ernie Ball Earthwoods, or Martins. I've been getting into nylon string stuff lately, and trying different things, haven't settled on a favorite, but I like ball ends. I hate tying strings, like a caveman.

I live and die by Cobalt Slinky. Nothing like a fresh set of Cobalts.
