yeah, uh, kinda like the sockpuppet said... y'know it's kinda funny this is like little leagues lol. you can see some really obvious sockpuppets with months of regular commenting completely unrelated to the main account before they activate it... can link an example if anyone is interested...
my headcannon is apytele is shocked that their ingenious plan to play up their comments is not only obvious but so commonly employed that there's a term for it lol
my version of events here is that apytele made an account a couple days ago (on the same instance with an extremely similar extremely unique naming convention.......) made 6 comments unrelated to where their main account normally hangs out in a laughable attempt to make it a believable unique account from their main, then uses that account to glaze this (potentially slightly unpopular) comment of theirs. they wanted other people to see the response and go "oh wow yeah! that is nuanced!!"
I think despite the attempt to make the sockpuppet seem emotional and reactive in a way the main usually isn't, it's pretty obvious they're written by the same person lol
I think they are pretty much saying im a fake account made by apytele to agree to their post...I created this account days before apytele wrote that comment, so shrugs. Kind of wild the accusations people will throw around with evidence as thin as a thread of silk.

Same number of letters and both begin with a capital A, and neither of them are words in a language that's common on Lemmy. I think it might just as well be a coincidence, though.
Sockpuppets do exist and certain kinds of people love a good witchhunt.
Huh...thank you! I call myself Asoran online a lot, and also have accounts where i call myself Nyxian or Nyxi. I just kinda thought they sounded good when i combined them together. Probably crashed out a bit too much to the person accusing me of being a sockpuppet. Im kindaaaa insecure about the way I talk and how I come across so it hit me a bit hard I guess. Shouldn't be so sensitive with random internet people though so thats kinda on me.

well fuck me i guess....im already constantly self conscious about the way i speak, so thanks for making me feel worse when i already read through all my post 50 million fucking times to make sure i dont come across as weird or oddly worded before i comment asshole. I fuckig hate the internet, i should just fucking delete all my accounts at this point. god forbid i try to leave a nice comment without getting dogpiled just for the way i word things...
Edit: apparently sockpuppets and bots are different things. Whatever, not gonna accept the premise of assholes who just like to throw accusations around and attack people.
