Kerry-Lynne Findlay, the leader of the BC Conservatives, has told MLAs to stop using the term 'First Nations' and use other terms instead.

She does know, doesn’t she, that “First Nations” hasn’t been the accepted term in well over a decade?

Indigenous. Easy to say, means only one thing. MLAs should have been using it for years.

That's the first I've heard that it's outdated. All the offices and vehicles around here are branded as First Nations.

Old stuff doesn’t get updated. I remember when it all said “Indian Tribe” — and that was long after the move to First Nations.
