Beshear made the remarks just before McConnell released a so-called “proof of life” photo on Sunday

Article is bullshit for publishing the statement after the facts on the ground changed. Realistically, the governor no longer can take that course of action.

There's reasonable suspicion about that "proof of life" photo. They should let Beshear talk with McConnell on the phone or (better yet!) on video call.

They’re in the same state, he should just be allowed to visit.

McConnell is in DC, where he spends most of his time.

Every article I’ve read says he was at home in Kentucky when he was taken to the hospital.
