It's relevant if we assume it's america, because the white suburban middle-class american assumption is that all poor black people will murder and kill you and have no human decency. When of course, the truth is most folks in these places are decent and the crime is minority of the residents who are in gangs and other organized activities.

And trust me, tons of these people exist. I meet live in a city full of folks who claim to be liberal progressives but are utterly terrified to be in the same restaurant as anyone black. The racism is really really deep here, esp among those who claim they aren't racist because they watched Get Out and read White Fragility, so they can't possibly be racist!

But people are dumb monkeys and fear is one of our most powerful/driving emotions, to the point it's the an amazing tactic for fueling brain-rot political takes and policies based in 'black people are all bad people' nonsense. And also, more lately, latino immigrants from south america whose skin color has any significant melanin.

Even if they are criminals, they don't want cops on their turf. The best neighbors I've ran into were deep in the ghetto on a street with 3 sell houses.

You and I know that but middle class white americans with little to no experience with black people are the more agoraphobic people on the planet

While I agree. It can be a little rougher in the south. I don't judge, but if I'm going to get some weed or M, and my buddy is with me, whom is a 40 yr old black guy. He'll be the first to say "lock the doors and keep the windows up."

Nothing on the folks in the ghetto, but some of em are desperate and will see a white person as an easy target.

But I'm also the type of guy to treat a rough black neighborhood the same as a rough white neighborhood.

Hell, I'm more scared of the white ghettos with all the meth. White methheads will stab ya in the face. Black ghettos are just folks trying to get by.

This was in Louisiana. It was bad enough that my friend who lived there was surrounded by cops going home multiple times because "the only reason a white person would be there is to buy drugs."

Yea, it definitely a thing I watch for when going into them areas. If I see a cop on one block, I'll go around 2 blocks so they don't see us riding back through.

Which makes me feel bad cause ya it is one of the reasons I am over there, but that can't be helped if the folks I break bread with are black.

And it's not like I see a black person and go "on that's a plug." It just I end up having black plugs cause all my white plugs rip me off and act like they're my buddies. I've never been ripped off by a black plug if I'm tbh.

It's a fucked world. Everybody wants to get the drop on everyone.
