Sorry but 2FA is more important for account security than strong passwords. I agree that SMS-based options are insecure and needlessly sensitive but most of the time at least TOTP ("authenticator apps") is available and you can use a client/device of your choosing, it does not need to be a smartphone. Microslop can't get it right, but it is not BS per se.
Bro they asked for my phone number for verification its really me, except I never gave them my number before
