Outlook on web frequently asks you to sign in but when one completes the 2 factor authentication, it signs you out and one has to click on sign in again and enter password and OTP again to be able to sign in.

It's the online Outlook that's sloppy. It asks you to sign in and after accepting password and OTP, signs you out! It's frustrating to be asked for 2 factor authentication just to be signed out.

Even with that, it'll ask you to sign in again and after giving it the password and 2 factor authentication, it'll sign you out!

And then once you do it, you're signed out! Lmao

Microslop: Please complete 2 factor authentication again to sign in.

User completes 2 factor authentication

Microslop: Thanks, you have been signed out.

User: ffs!

Haha, exactly! Microslop at its finest.
