This is the equivalent of an NFL Linebacker trying to tackle a kindergartener, missing completely, hurting himself, and buying the kindergartner a Maserati.
(The player also hurt the whole NFL team, doubled their debt, collapsed it's economic, some geopolitical alliances, it's petrodollar, etc - and that's just in relation to this one thing/war with the kindergartner.)
I'm not sure you know what an analogy is.
