With touchscreens I use swipe typing. It's significantly faster.
i still get about 70wpm just tap typing. i never really got how to do swipe typing fast. i heard apparently some swipe keyboards allow you to mostly just swipe in the direction of a key without actually touching the key and that seems like a big speedup, but i never learned it.
I used a ton, but google has been more accurate.
