I have a deep love for these critters.
Mainly because of their beauty, but also because I first encountered them where my family would gather for a yearly reunion. There would be dozens of them flitting around lit areas each night. You'd find them hanging on screen doors to cabins, and they were not bothered by humans; they'd land on you as though you were any old block of wood.
Most interactive insect I ever ran across lol.
Hey my family had a place in the woods that we would go to in the summer and these moths would come out at night and they looked like little fairies flying around it was so awesome.
