I do the same, and as a European, I also boycott all U.S. products, because this country not only participates in Israel’s atrocities but even makes them possible in the first place.
Agree. But EU is also mostly aligned with "israel". I often wonder why? Is it some sort of guilt from WW2? Makes no sense.
Its money. They see it as a good point of interest to hold for the next weapons of mass distraction event scenario in the middle east.
Like the one they're doing , right now.
I thought it was because tRump diddled some kids
That's probably part of the reason too
But even previous administrations have taken a pro Israel stance. Surely they weren't all doing that.
In Germany, this is indeed still (ostensibly) justified by citing the historical responsibility Germany bears toward the victims of the Holocaust. However, this line of reasoning is obviously completely nonsensical, since Germany’s responsibility naturally does not pertain to the State of Israel, but rather to doing everything in its power to prevent genocide—a goal that is, unfortunately, being thwarted by our politicians.
The fact that the political establishment and the powerful elites continue to support Israel despite its undeniable crimes and inhuman atrocities can, in my view, only be explained by corruption and skillful intelligence work on the part of the Mossad. I can no longer think of any other explanation.
In my opinion, the Epstein documents provide a fairly clear picture of how this works.
A state which is meant to attract all Jews means fewer Jews in Germany.
Consider the possibility that the objective of unwaveringly supporting Israel, especially in its territorial expansion, is for even more Jews to leave to it.
Certainly that the real motivation of German politicians is to support a Jewish Homeland as a means to get rid of more Jews would explain the glaring inconsistencies in the "historical responsibility" argument, such as how they don't at all in any way form or shape extend the same unwavering support to other groups equally targeted by the NAZIs such as the Roma People and how the German Courts recently deemed Jewish Voices For Peace - a Jewish organization - an "extremist organization" for being against the actions that Israel commits in their name (in other words, German Tribunals are deciding how Jews should think about Jewish Affairs).
This possibility started emerging in my mind not that long ago, but so far unlike the "historical responsibility" claims it has remained consistent which what the German Authorities have been doing.
That's also why American evangelical Christians love supporting Israel so much, with the added layer of Revelations prophesizing that the Rapture can't kick off until the Jews return to the Holy Land.
I think the much simpler explanation is that corrupt and unscrupulous politicians are lining their own pockets or profiting in other ways.
Germany supplies weapons to Israel, which is a multi-billion-dollar business. Furthermore, Israel is particularly influential in the U.S., which is why a good relationship with Israel is, so to speak, a prerequisite for relations with the U.S.—it is no coincidence that it is precisely those countries that are closely linked to the U.S. that also support Israel.
The fact that Germany doesn’t even shy away from targeting Jewish organizations that call Israel’s actions what they are is simply the same tactic that is always used to silence legitimate criticism. Germany, incidentally in a Bundestag vote that coincidentally took place on the day of a popular soccer match, adopted a definition of anti-Semitism that, for example, brands any comparison of Israeli crimes with those of Nazi Germany as anti-Semitism. Of course, this is absurd, but it is a tool that can also be used against Jewish critics.
This, in turn, is fully in line with Israel’s strategy, which has always used this argument to silence critics. For Jewish critics, Zionism has even developed the completely absurd construct of Jewish self-hatred.
In short: Germany’s support can plausibly be explained by greed and political opportunism. It is simply about money and power.
Germany is very, very exceptional in Europe when it comes to its support of Israel, the only equivalent country being Britain.
As it so happens I lived in Britain for a while and thus know that the current Prime Minister there got his job thanks to the support of Israel-linked Jewish Groups (who helped him overthrown the previous leader of his party with a slander campaign with accusations of anti-semitism which were so wild that they even accused a Jewish Holocaust Survivor of being an anti-semite to get at said leader by association, and then his party naturally got into government since over there they have First Past The Post, not Proportional Vote).
Anyways, the political and money elites in quite a lot of other European nations also have the greed motive to want to support Israel, but except for Britain the rest haven't gone anywhere close to the level of Germany.
Hence I think that some element of real anti-semitism is part of the explanation for Germany's extraordinary support of Israel when compared with the rest of Europe.
I think it’s out of the question that there’s an anti-Semitic conspiracy going on here, as you suspect. The reason: Religion is always just a means to an end for power-hungry politicians. The best example is that orange pedo in the White House—he pretends to be a fundamentalist Christian, but that’s very obviously just a cover to achieve his goals, which are to enrich himself and his cronies as much as possible.
The same applies to Netanyahu, against whom a case involving billions in corruption has been pending for years, a case that has never been prosecuted due to the ongoing state of war.
The two have one thing in common: their absolute ruthlessness—and that is precisely what characterizes their ilk. These people will literally walk over dead bodies. In my opinion, this has not the slightest thing to do with religion.
Edit: The UK is likely the US’s closest ally, and the modern German state was largely established under US occupation (East Germany was under Russian control but collapsed before the Soviet Union did). Both countries therefore have historically particularly close ties to the US. Furthermore, if we’re honest, European criticism of Israel’s crimes comes exclusively from Spain.
Oh, I think there are multiple reasons for this shit, including politicians in Europe being under pressure because Israel (which, remember, was involved in the Epstein ring and is home to several surveillance companies specialized in things like hacking smartphones) has kompromat on them (up to and including evidence of pedophilia) - I mean all it takes it to look at the incestuous relation between retired German politicians and Russia energy sector state companies to conclude that at least nowadays they're as crooked as even those in Southern Europe (like in my own native Portugal) so I expect there's going to be a lot of crooks in German politics that can be caught doing illegal things for those with the appropriate surveillance technology and even running worldwide honeypots for such people.
Mass gathering of blackmail material to control politicians in Democratic nations It's a pretty natural extension of what the 4-eyes (now 7-eyes) were doing, into the age of people carrying around a networked device with natural surveillance capabilities in their own pockets, plus the Epstein Files have shown there really were no limits to the kinds of crimes some of the elites will actually do whilst being immune to the Law, to what others would do to get blackmail material on them and to how massive scale in size, duration and geographical scope such operations can be.
Further, as you say, for many if not most politicians Religion is nothing more than a tool to control the masses.
That said, in Germany only the symbols of NAZIsm and the top level were removed, the rest kept their place (the NAZIs inside the state were not removed, the very rich people who supported them did not lose their wealth), so I expect that genuine anti-semitism is part of the reason for Germany's extra strong support for the nation where all Jews are supposed to move to, especially when it comes to its territorial expansion ambitions AND judging by what the German authorities have done in the face of pushback against that position (and, historically, by not extending their proclaimed "making amends" to other ethnicities targetted by the NAZIs for extermination), the whole "Historical Responsability" as a motivation is complete total bullshit and is meant only to manipulate common Germans into accepting the choices of the German power elites - having no Religious beliefs and only using Religion to manipulate people makes as much sense as manipulating people with claims of "good will" motivations for certain actions which have very different motivations - surelly if there are those doing the former, there are also those doing the latter.
Similarly, that way of looking at and behaving towards people from were NAZIsm was born (not just the belief that ethnic discrimination is fine - hence why the chancellor felt it was fine to openly justify his unwavering support for a Genocidal state with the dominant ethnicity of that state ("we unwaveringly support the Jewish state") - but also that it's fine to use the Force of the state to shut up dissent from the common people against the actions of those in power) didn't got cleaned in depth from German power and money circles after WWII, also explains why the German Authorities are now pretty regularly resorting to Authoritarian use of Force to shut up critics of its policy of unwavering support of a Genocidal state, plus it also explains how easy it was for AfD to rise (logically, if Racially discriminatory treatment favoring one ethnicity - the Jewish People - is fine, then it's also fine when it favors other groups, such as the German People: it is a very small Moral distance between one kind of ethnic discrimination and the other)
I mean, this is all "look at this" and * waves hands in the air and points * theorizing from me, yet so far I haven't actually found any inconsistency in the idea that a mindset of Racism and Authoritarianism (not NAZIsm, just the kind of foundational way of looking at and dealing with other people from were things like NAZIsm are born) amongst the German Power circles is alive and well and it does make sense that some of those people do still harbor genuine anti-semitic feelings.
Boycotting the US of fucking A is just the right thing to do, would even be without the genozide support.
That too. I wonder whether it is time to boycott German and UK products as well, that might be more hard.
As a German, I can say that, unfortunately, nearly every major political party in Germany defends Israel and thereby actively supports its genocide. In my view, this is completely at odds with the general will of the people, as the majority of citizens firmly and decisively reject this criminal policy. They want Israel to finally be held accountable for its crimes, but this is being prevented by the political establishment.
Therefore, in my view, it would only be right to boycott German products as well, so that the pressure on our wretched politicians increases.
I feel you as a Slovene, where we manage to again elect a far right populist friend (and admirer of) with Netanyahu and Orban. He wants to be friend with the Orange, but relationship goes one way only.
