Currently my domain (.org) is registered with namecheap. I just received an email that they want to increase my fees, and I see that as an opportunity to switch to a European registrar.

Anyone have suggestions for an EU-based registrar with a DDNS service?

No while not an European Domain Registar i use njal.la for the most Part since 5 Years now and ive never been happier really :P
Tho i could suggest Hetzners DOmain registrar as well as i do have another Website thats exclusively in German of Mine and its quite Great imo ^^
