If you are here asking: "Is this a science meme?"
Probably, yes. We use the Dawkins definition of meme: a replicating idea, not just an image macro with a fact on it. A good post here doesn't need to teach you something. It needs to make you ask something: who, what, where, when, and especially why or how.
Science isn't a filing cabinet of facts, it's a conversation. For example, a photo of an eel or other localized wildlife counts because most people never see one, and wonder is the first step of inquiry. A car meme counts if it makes you curious about what's under the bonnet. If you want to talk about something you noticed in the world, chances are someone else wants to talk about it too.
We moderate for vibe, not category. Pruning is light, especially where a post creates interesting discussion. Experimenting is encouraged, but keep it in good faith and never punch down.

used to work with ostriches, those things are as dangerous. Why aren't they covering it's head!!! they are much easier to handle when they are blinded.
Found The Ginger.
Explain the joke? I'm too arab to be Ginger
The original post is a Letterkenny reference about a dude fucking an ostrich (allegedly). His name is "The Ginger."

I'm glad I was ignorant, and with to go back to said ignorance.
Letterkenny is a great show though
To be faiiir
We never find out if The Ginger fucked an ostrich or if Boots helped him or if the ostrich was sick or any of the other rumours in the show. But there's an episode where the protagonists are discussing it and how difficult it would have been to pull off, a town gossip hears half a sentence out of context and tells everyone what he'd heard as if it was something true, which kind of implies that the whole thing probably got built up that way.
It's a pretty funny show and it's great at building inside jokes like that.
It’s a really great show, though.
This is just a really weird bit part of that great show.
Thanks for sharing either way - that’s kinda cool. Are ostriches as foul-tempered as they seem?
Depends, normally? they are safe to be around, the only way someone gets hurt is if they bother them and won't let them walk away.
Unless they are in heat, if a male ostrich is in heat they can be dangerous, especially if they see you as a mate.
I think the guy in the front is pantomiming putting a bag over its head, but the bag itself is missing from the illustration.
