AI-Industrial-Complex grift is fine as long as it sufficiently relates to the AI doom from the TREACLES. (Though TechTakes may be more suitable.)

This is less related to actually existing "AI" and more about one of the myths (or, ultimately, the constellation of myths) that drives people to work on "AI." I posted this on Mastodon, but it probably belongs here as well.

Awesome, thank you for the typo heads up also. Feedback is always welcome. Between ADHD and sleep deprivation, it's a real challenge to catch everything.

I enjoyed a different type of takedown than our more usual method of pointing out the weird nested asumptions.
