Its all marketing. Look into the statistics and actual stories of the companies who have embraced AI. They have seen no productivity gains, not a single one. They are basically forcing managers to use it at the threat of losing their jobs, even though it can't actually do the work.

They are invested way too deep into AI. They need to convince all the CEOS to buy it and use it whether it works or not. It's not ready, but they don't care because they have no time to wait. If they can't pay their investors and loans they loose a shit load of money and the economy goes into a deep recession.

All of these cuts because of "AI" are just disguises that there companies aren't doing too well right now and we are probably already in the beginning of a recession. But if they say they are firing for AI their stock goes up, instead of down.

It's fucked, but not the way you think.
