That computer in the background is giving me anxiety.
How do people function with organization like that?
Yeah, I stopped using desktop icons altogether somewhere around Windows 7 days.
Nowadays I can't stand having anything on my desktop (linux)
I look at my desktop so little I just treat it as a folder for things that need be temporarily stored. The fact it appears on the screen behind whatever I have open is a non-issue.
My desktop is like that. Code repos are tightly structured. There are warring instincts going on.
It's just how Mac uses seem to lay things out. It's always a desktop full of icons.
This is how iPhones always look to me too, and it's always mind boggling... This is what people want their phone's home screen to look like? Really?
It’s true, but these days Macs will let you collapse your desktop items in to a single icon by file type.
I also recently learned to use Stage Manager and it’s pretty sweet.
Hm... Is that just because of the type of users who use macs, or is it an indictment of Mac OS's file management user friendliness?
Because windows doesn't arrange by penis.
