So first up I wish this kind of diligence were given to the slanderous screenshot by the admin of the feddit.org instance @Emopunker@feddit.org, instead of being very defensive about brigading in the thread were it and nothing corroborating it got posted. Anyone critical of it, who had posted in the haram comms was at risk of getting banned for brigading if they spoke against it. This brigading slander toward hexbear (and from there it gets extended to all the "tankie" instances) dates back to lemmy.world "pre-emptively defederating as a last resort"^[https://hexbear.net/post/280770]. I still have seen no evidence of it either, people post in !slop@hexbear.net but there never is any coordinated action discussed. It's the internet, people link each other shit, but there is no concerted effort.

A lot of questions should have been very apparent under the assumption that the slander were real,

• How did this detective find a month old thread?
  ** Did they see it get posted and sat on it for a month? Why post about it now?
  ** Did they find it recently, if so how did they know where to look?
• Why archive via screenshots? Anyone looking to prove something on the internet would use an archival website. Certainly someone who is so invested as to go undercover on nazi websites.
• Why were they on the nazi website? To protect what community?

Like do you not see why I have nothing but contempt for feddit.org??

Secondly the draconian instance-bans for wrongthink are used to loosely. I couldn't participate in the piefed.social thread^[https://piefed.social/c/fediverse/p/2021029/feddit-org-pushes-falsified-screenshot-portraying-dbzer0-as-nazis-bans-users-for-questi#post_replies] which I found out when I saw a comment I made not federate. Why was I banned from there? I dunno, the modlog doesnt even list a reason. Furthermore all the feddit.orgers and piefed.socials are not able to see this debunk and the conversation around it because my replies won't federate to them since I've been instance banned.

On to the actual topic, I don't know if @PosiePoser@feddit.org and @sleerk@feddit.uk are the same person, it certainly seems suspicious but ultimately, who cares. The troll likely already has another 3 alts up and running and already posting under them to make them seem legit since deleting the feddit.uk one, all while eating some watermelon. Feddit.org'ers however should ask themselves if they are willing to believe that @PosiePoser@feddit.org just randomly stumbled on this thread and posted it to the a lot smaller !fediversede@feddit.de sub and not the bigger comms to expose the antisemites to the largest audience possible. If they think that @PosiePoser@feddit.org is a troll why would they choose feddit.org as the instance to make the drama bigger?

Who is they? Does @PosiePoser@feddit.org have inside info? You can search for "white lion" on annihilation.social and it's nearly unused. "Operation white lion" is what the pissraehellis called their terror attacks on Iran. Why focus on this tidbit, and why keep stoking the flames with this patently untrue phrase?

Since the db0-admins were in the thread already, one of them could have theoretically deleted the post on the nazi website so it was gone 7mins after the links was published here.

Then @sleerk@feddit.uk could have posted a link to one of the instances federating with annihilation social surely? You know, instead of nuking their account? Also db0 saw it 8 hours before they linked it. Either the link was already dead when posted or somehow db0 deleted it within the 10 minutes between them posting it and me clicking on it. There were so many options available if the screenshot were true.

The theory of one db0-admin being a nazi can’t be debunked just by claiming the nazi post has never existed.

We can also look at all their past behavior spanning years. They basically built this community from way back when and all this to do what exactly? Push antisemitism? Well, where is it then? Also I go beyond "claiming" that the nazi post never existed, I post the exact (and what I would consider pretty compelling) reasoning. Furthermore, within minutes of me posting this, the entire account gets nuked. Idk, if I was on a crusade against an antisemitic admin I would not give up at the first sign of resistance. But maybe I'm built different (I'm not).

• The screenshot-thread shows some kinds of lemmy-like thread lines on the left. In the debunk-link, they are missing.
• Additionally the screenshot-thread has some “show more comments” stuff which also would be hard to fake with the browser-html-editing

These are fixed to match up more closely with the troll's screenshot when you go click on the cog in the top right of the website and under "Posts Look & Feel" > "Conversation display style" select "Tree-style"

I'm assuming the above action fixes this as well since the threads match up perfectly.

• The screenshot has a German interface and the background matches the background of the nazi-website

Again the cog, at the very top select "Primary language"

• The screenshot-thread is marked as private (?) (lock-icon) which could be the reason why one can’t open it while not being logged in as one of the nazi-users. The debunk-thread is public.

That's the one that I haven't been able to solve, my best guess is, when registering there is a text that says "accounts inactive for a week get purged", well they dont get deleted since I see some are still up (go to the welcome bot and look at some old profiles) so my guess is they can no longer post?? I don't think that website has a private section, it's simply a "free-speech" everything legal goes instance that's horribly unoptimised. It runs on some mastodon-like fedi software and the posts coming in from other instances would have to be marked as secret on their servers as well somehow, I don't think there is anything that isn't publicly viewable.

So the site is horribly unoptimised and I brought my laptop almost to a freeze, but I figured out that entering people into the search would show up toots (or whatever they call them over there) where they are replied to. It doesn't just search text bodies. So I entered the three usernames "dc5fan frondeur arm_barbarian" and when I saw the reaction emoji I already had it, there really was no deep-dive necessary and that should give the people that forgo basic fact-checking and just take a screenshot at face-value a really big moments pause to think. This wasn't hard.
