Oh I'm not saying it was fake, I'm saying the lack of response is a complete lack of self preservation.

Some are lol. I mean you're not wrong it is "normal" but also not necessarily a lack of self preservation, could be faith in the Secret Service. Or faith in The Lord™ I guess, maybe he believes and doesn't mind meeting him lol.
