who says that?
People claim that more animals are killed in industrial agriculture than the animals that you would be eating instead. Like mice killed by threshers.
The flaw in that argument is that livestock animals are fed by industrial agriculture too, so by eating meat you are also responsible for more animals killed in agriculture than you would be by eating the produce yourself. It takes a lot more agriculture to raise multiple animals for one person to eat than it would to produce the amount of food they would eat otherwise.
God I wish I were you.
Definitely getting strong strawman vibes
I have had multiple people say this exact thing to me both in person and on the internet. This is not a strawman in the slightest, and even a very basic search on social media and blog sites will demonstrate this.
That never happened to me. But i had people try to make me feel bad for eating avocados because, you know they use water to grow them.
Oh yeah totally a strawman argument, this clearly has never been discussed by every wannabe carnivore influencer, and is never repeated adnauseam in the comments section of virtually any video which even broaches the subject of veganism. And there obviously isn't countless videos online discussing this topic:

Probably people who think that veg(itari)anism is 'woke'.
You know the kind. The ones who think everything is an attack on their toxic masculinity.
Idiots and liars, I assume.
The occasional non-vegan who doesn't think well on their own but wants to sound smart. Or the occasional troll / animal ag plant who wants to propagate anti-vegan myths. I've come across the claim about a dozen times online and once IRL.
