There are some shows that I've rewatched so much that I can just listen to the audio and see the video in my head, so theoretically you can do both
I could but probably won't. I've already settled on DS9 mixed with a nap or 3 as my reward for surviving a really crappy and stressful week at work.
If I tried that with DS9 I would be glued to the screen within the first ten minutes.
