Lawmakers are weighing a bill that would allow 10 more cities and towns to prohibit the use of fossil fuels in new construction through an existing pilot program.

The Dorchester parkway, one of Boston’s starkest examples of climate impacts, is inundated multiple times a year.

Rates vary by utility but generally offer lower distribution charges in colder months, encouraging broader heat pump adoption.

Each utility’s program is unique—contact your utility directly for details and enrollment links.

Eversource has more info and an online form to upload a photo of your heat pump's sticker.

MassSave may have automatically enrolled you but does not seem to have done so for many.

🏗️ Remove commercial code for small buildings to reduce construction costs. Right now, a Massachusetts triplex gets treated like a Skyscraper. That means expensive sprinklers, stairwell requirements, and other expensive mandates.
