You might want to block this instance if you don't want your users to have to constantly argue their own existence. At least you might want to hesitate/silence the instance to prevent their debatebros from randomly slipping in your replies. Just my take.

Edit: We had an exception to the prohibited content rules explicitly allowing lolicon content. As part of the rule change, this exception was removed. There was no lolicon content posted and it will not be allowed going forward.

PSA for #Peertube instance owners:

Block/ignore the peertube.se instance immediately. This is run by and used by Nordfront, the media division of the Nordiska Motståndsrörelsen organization for spreading Nazi propaganda.

Of course, this being the #Fediverse, make sure to block it on all platforms, such as #Mastodon.

After programming.dev joined the fediseer, I noticed some new non-lemmy instances they censured for loli shit, so I decided to investigate them, as they often tend to be friendly or hostile to each other for various reasons, so you can discover a lot more of them through their blocks and wikis.

So I did just that and want to warn you about the following non-lemmy services which are either

• Hosting lolicon and shotacon
• Have been blocked by multiple loli instances for CSAM (MFW the loli creeps think you're too creepy...)
• Supports pedophilia, bestiality, or call themselves "MAP"

The Fediseer is primarily focused on anti-spam but it provides the censures functionality which you can use to mark which instances you don't want to associate with. You can then use the python SDK to automatically convert them into a blocklist. You can in fact combine your with the blocklists of other instances you trust, so as to crowdsource the maintenance of your blocklists.

You can also easily see which censures any instance has given, even if they're not in their blocklist with a simple URL. Example lemmy.dbzer0.com
