using it to talk to machines when I'm not on the local network!

Are people really installing it for just local networked machines?

as someone considering going down this path, can you give some things to look up or watch out for?

Performance is great!

And not that hard to set up! I installed it on a Windows VM and used KASM to run it in the browser as a remote app. Installing Windows/Steam on the VM took longer than setting up the remote app (KASM was already installed on my server)

Sorry, I'm at the end of a long day and having a hard time understanding lol

I have these connectors plus the one on the GPU.

The white one is on the riser and the smaller black one is one the motherboard

So I just need to connect the white one to the GPU?

Yes, the riser has a white 8 pin connector. So, if I connect that to the smaller 8pin on the motherboard it'll will be good?

I was gifted a R720xd by work (yay!) and want to install a spare 3060 I have. Does any one know of a power cable and advice? Do I hook the power to the riser, the card, both?
