I wish I could take credit for the paint job, but all I did was some minor touch-ups after snipping off the runners. I guess I should've been a little more clear in the title. Here's the kit: https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2588123001002

Thanks for the heads-up on the embedded images, that is indeed a PITA. I've stuck with kbin/mbin because I browse on desktop and am not a fan of Lemmy's UI. Maybe I'll take a look at it again at some point.

Love this guy, probably my favorite "grunt" unit. I built the MG version, and eventually want to get a 2nd one to paint.

I saw some dragonflies flying around my backyard the other day and was reminded of that fact.

Not at all. You can buy a receiver to use Xbox's proprietary wireless standard, which is marginally faster than bluetooth, but I use an Xbox Series X controller with my pc over bluetooth and it works just fine.

You'll need to check the specs of your laptop to be sure, but most laptops nowadays have a bluetooth receiver built in. All you need to do is pair your xbox controller to it (and it's natively supported in Windows) and you're good to go.

I'm looking forward most to the co-op missions. I liked those in SC2 and wished they had expanded on them more.

In case anyone hasn't seen this announcement yet:

THE GUNDAM BASE MOBILE USA TOUR. What to expect! Enjoy & look forward to exclusive items, free workshop kits, playtest video games and more!

These were some of the first models I painted. I really like how the glossy black accentuates the clear parts on Aerial.

I got the FA-78 Thunderbolt ver.ka a while back and loved the kit, so decided to get the HG version as a paint project. I'm pleased with how the color scheme turned out.

I painted all but the white and green.
