Even a minimally featured bidet will at least soften things up and make wiping more effective.

I used a tushy bidet to start, which is pretty cheap and easy to get going and get comfortable with it. I would recommend the warm water options, but you need to have a sink nearby to steal the warm water from. Fancier warm water bidets have an instant water heater, so you don't need a hot water tap, just power.

I have since upgraded to one with all the features, and here's how my process typically goes:

  1. Sit down on heated seat
  2. Push out what I can
  3. Using the remote, turn on low pressure heated water with pulsating mode. I can also move the spray back/forth with the remote to get everything.
  4. Switch to high pressure for a moment. That has enough pressure to get up in there a bit, which seems to lubricate/soften any parts that didn't come out through sheer effort earlier.
  5. Pause, push out one more time
  6. Go back to low pressure to tidy up
  7. Turn on blow dryer for a bit, or dry off with TP if I'm in a hurry.

Why do you capitalize seemingly random words? Is this a translation artifact or something?

A bidet gets its water straight from the tap, not from the toilet bowl. His is the same water that you wash your hands in.

I think you are coupling a centralized voting system with one that gives equal access, and I don't think that's necessarily true. Being a centralized system makes it consistent, but not necessarily fair.

An independent body could be easier to undermine (single point of attack), and be just as likely, if not more likely, to reduce voting access across the country all at once. I think we'd have corruption either way. The inefficiency of the decentralized system could be slowing it down.

I think you are looking at the system with hindsight and assuming that because the current system is suffering problems, that a different system wouldn't suffer those same problems. I don't think you can justify that conclusion

I think the states handling election in theory makes sense. It's a decentralized system that is harder to undermine. An independent body may bring consistency, but I don't think that helps at all in combatting Trump's tampering.

Also, many states are using paper ballots and always have been.

Like others mentioned, it doesn't seem far off stock. The things I can pick out that are mods are:

  • bl touch (or something like it). This is an automatic bed leveling tool. So instead of spinning the little cogs under the bed all the time to get the bed level, it will probe the bed before printing to build a map of the bed position, and print accordingly.
  • general parts upgrade. This is a simple upgrade kit that's just an increase in quality. Better springs, stuff like that
  • mainboard upgrade. Might just be upgraded to a silent board. Might be upgraded to something more.. hard to tell.

I don't see much else that stands out as being particularly modded. Hope that helps.

Ah, that's a good workaround.

Does that work pre-os boot? I had to boot my Linux Mac into safe mode, and the way to do that is to press the escape key during boot. I had to plug in an external keyboard to do it.

You are so confident that you know what people are thinking. I didn't feign confusion, you are just a terrible communicator and incredibly hard to follow.

I tried to be patient and have a clear honest conversation with you, but you are clearly not capable of having honest conversation. You are an incredibly dishonest, arrogant, and irrational person, and I don't see any way to have productive conversation with you. So I'll be blocking you now. I hope you figure out how to stop being a dickhead.

I voted for the genocide supporter you wanted me to instead of the genocide supporter you are ok with because it gives you an excuse to blame the left.

What does this even mean? I wanted you to vote for Harris. Did you vote for Harris? You also say something about my "buddies on the right", so do you think I wanted you to vote for Trump, and therefore you voted for Trump? I wish you'd speak more directly instead of throwing in all these ambiguous assumptions.

Assuming you voted for Harris, it sounds like we are actually on mostly the same page. I voted for Harris. You voted for Harris (I think? I wish you would just give straight answers). Everyone should have voted for Harris. But Harris wasn't good, we deserve better, and I want to see better.

I also would have preferred that Harris had changed for the better. Why do you assume that isn't what I wanted? Who are my "buddies on the right"? I don't have any right-wing friends that I'm aware of.

It's a shame that you have to go making an ass out of yourself by jumping to all sorts of unfounded assumptions about who I am or what I think. If you would just engage honestly this would be a lot easier.

You seem all upset and lashing out at anyone who bothers to engage with you. Take a step back and go touch some grass or something.

I acknowledged that we could and should have better candidates. That doesn't impact the fact that you have those 4 options when it comes to voting.

Regardless of what anyone does to push for better candidates, these are the options at that moment:

  • Vote for Harris

  • Vote for trump

  • Vote for someone with no chance of winning

  • Don't vote.

Which of those options are you choosing? Or are you going to avoid the question again?

How does that even apply?

I'm a voter. Presidential election is happening. Both options suck, but one is extra awful.

So the correct action is to run for president myself? And somehow build up grassroots support for myself over a series of 3 months sufficient to win? Too late.

We need someone to do that, yea, but that's no longer the action being taken in regards to the 2024 election. You still have to: vote Harris, vote Trump, vote for someone with no chance of winning, or not vote.

So while you "grab a hose" which of those 4 actual actions are you taking?

Tl;Dr FB sucks, looking for Android client to view friends/pages/groups posts only.

I don't like Facebook, but my main hobby community exists almost exclusively there.

I try to limit my usage to just within the bounds of my hobby, but it is difficult with all of the garbage FB tries to push in my face every time I look at it.

I would love to have a different client for FB that just gives me content on people I'm friends with. No reels, no suggestions, no ads, just friends/pages/groups.

I've seen that there are alternative FB clients for Android, but it's never clear if they offer something like what I want.

Before I spend time evaluating various clients, does anyone already know of one that does what I want?
