No, it's really gone. I've been trying out DataGrip this morning and there are a lot of differences that I'm going to have to adapt to, but it works and I like it better than the VS Code integration.

I particularly like how fast it is to show me the schema of tables. In ADS, I had to choose "Script as create" on a table and it was very, very slow for Azure SQL databases with Entra ID logins.

 

It's disappointing to see Azure Data Studio disappear, but this does explain the dearth of updates over the past few months.

I find the VS Code extension experience more awkward, so maybe this pushes me to DataGrip from @jetbrains
