I didn't realize they were still around. It's awesome to see they're still sticking to id tech.

"Every sub on Reddit is like a HS drama fest" is too true. I'm not interested in the drama. What I'm interested in is the fact that Mr Threat Interactive has admitted to not knowing what the fuck he was talking about regarding anything related to graphics and engine design a year ago, put out a video titled "graphics are being murdered" just a few months after, and now thinks the entire industry is out to get him after being put in his place by people who do actually have experience in this niche field because he thinks his facebook boomer tier research is just as good as their experience. This guy is the anti vax of video games.
It still has an extremely charming aesthetic that's still hard to find anywhere else.
Is the DUNE neutrino experiment really being constructed purely to keep particle physicists employed?
human is undoubtedly making connections and associations far more complex and expressive, but at bottom it's all just "sound = thing", no? 🤔
The understanding of this complex and expressive structure is significant because it allows you to convey novel or abstract information. You will not be able to explain what a walk is to a dog without a demonstration, while you will be able to do so (to some degree) to the unfortunate hypothetical person who have never taken one before.
It's also a compiled blob, which is wonderful news if you were developing closed source software. You don't have to work around javascript with pesky obfuscation tricks to protect your intellectual property anymore! ♥️
That would only be a valid comparison if the american brand dehumidifier, as a complete product, was a part of the chinese one's bill of materials. This is closer to the cartoon meme image where McGuyver builds a megaphone out of a squirrel, twigs, and a megaphone.
1/4 to 1/3 of WD-40 is a petroleum base oil, and they make claims about its lubricating properties on their website and marketing material today.
GOG is owned by CD Projekt Red who included DRM into their own DLC for Cyberpunk, including on GOG. That's not "strong" in any sense of the word.
The DRM:
Get a fucking grip man 😅
In the article:
The distinction is significant, because there is no support for hardware keyboard and mouse in firefox for android, which makes it difficult to use for Chromebooks and PCs that run Android.
