PeerTube. It's a video sharing platform with ActivityPub federation and with peer to peer video sharing like a torrent (it is one I think) which lightens the load on instances. An alternative to YouTube is NEEDED right now. A good way to make it grow is to simply start a channel and post videos. It's currently very underpopulated. Some YouTube channels such as The Linux Experiment mirror their channels to PeerTube, so if you have a YT channel, mirror it to PeerTube.
Also to me it seems like Matrix could be the messenger of the future, replacing WhatsApp, SMS/calls, and social media DMs.
The general mobile Linux space is also interesting right now. Year of the Linux phone when? It's not currently fully ready but it's advancing. Also the FSF announced the LibrePhone initiative so there'll probably be more advancement.
My M2 MBP is basically a desktop workstation, so Asahi not supporting DisplayPort over USB-C means that I won't be able to connect a monitor, which I do 98% of the time. I'm switching when the driver releases.
Thoughts on GNU TALER??
Is it what we should all be using? What are its flaws and shortcomings?
No, it's like Lemmy, you sign up to an instance and can post on it, and your channel is visible on the whole federated network.
And if PeerTube grows, the "Peer" aspect will be very significant. Basically it's a torrent and the instance is always seeding, and while other users are watching, you will be sending them data and recieving data from them, lightening load on the instance. It's a simple and clever system. You can turn the torrent feature off in case you need to hide your IP address.
Good except:
ID on social media: I believe in a fully anonymous web, maybe instead mandate them to ban right wing and alt left accounts?
Ban private schools: This hurts alternatives to governmental things
Mandate vaccines: Good, except that this would worsen their reputation, mandating would be more conspiracy-able
Government takes rental properties: No, the alt left tried that, no, just no. What could work is the government determining the rent on a property.
Loops is for Tiktok esque short form videos. PeerTube is more like YT in terms of content form.
It's a bit surprising to me that mowing the lawn is a male thing, my assumption is that it would be stereotyped to women because it is a maintenance task and for some reason women are stereotyped as the ones doing those.
P.S. "stereotype" seems like the wrong word here but can't think of anything better

What you actually need is a privacy respecting open source browser, the clear recent history button, and also, if your router is untrusted, DNS over HTTPS.
