Of course it is. I hope that's not true. Where did you read this?

Yeah glad the guy who, for some reason has been in charge for over 20 years and changed the law to keep in power until 2036 has fixed corruption.

I've been to Moscow years ago. Our taxi driver took us to some abandoned street, the police arrived and took our passports. It took $300 to get them back. Long live the fight on corruption.

Please give me your address: I'm getting hungry and my feet are killing me.

Who cares about Russia's needs except Russian oligarchs? The Russians were much better off before Putin made Russia a dictatorship. Fact of the matter is, people don't like dictators, and sooner or later dictators and their servants will get what's coming. You pretend to be anti war, but what do you do if I came into your home, slapped you in the face, stole your food and took your children? Because it sounds like you're the kind of person to lay down and massage my feet in the name of peace.

We don't want that to happen. We want Russia to collapse and tone down a notch. If Putin wanted a natural security/trade relationship with Ukraine, he should have stuck to the Budapest memorandum and not invade.

I have to disagree here. I find using Cinnamon is very close to using windows. Everything hardware wise pretty much runs out of the box on all desktops and laptops I have installed it on. Have been using it for years. The one thing I can't comment on is hdpi. I never owned a high enough resolution screen to have problems with scaling I guess, although I do have a three monitor setup. Immutability might be nice, but I think it's also personal preference. Windows doesn't have it so it might be a strange feature to new users coming from Windows.

The fact that this is an actual question nowadays would absolutely stun the me from 2005

"I was really quite shocked and appalled by the picture you sent after grandma passed away. I especially wonder why you'd be smiling like you were. What was going through your mind/what were you thinking?"

Would be a very valid question in my opinion, asked in an adult way.

And this is why reddits value took a nosedive. Musk is finding out that everything he touches is turning to poop. By the way don't forget today is Tesla takedown day all over the world.

Regardless of your aunts motives, you are allowed to feel the way you feel, and to speak up about it. Best that can happen is she'll understand and apologize, worst is she'll be ashamed and defensive.

From a purely "vote with your wallet" standpoint it doesn't make sense, because there's no money paid. However, one might worry about data/information getting in the hands of a fascist/compromised government. So I think people should judge this themselves case by case.

I deleted my Disney plus and Amazon prime accounts last week and it felt so damn good.
