Fucking nailed it right there. You can't bully or bluster your way to the moon. It takes a willingness to continue projects over decades and that hasn't existed at NASA for a long time. By the time China has established a presence at Shakelton, it will be too late for a wake up call. China is investing in science while we're telling ours to leave for opportunities elsewhere. We're burying the future and half the country is applauding it.
Incredibly risky decision to conduct this mission and it's pretty risky to publish this account if DPRK really did not know about it because they're still going to want to retaliate.
