When I read ‘isnt a surface temp’ I instantly think of heat pipes you can run through the chicken to increase heat transfer from outside to inside. Not sure if that's how anyone does it, but I wouldn't be surprised if something like that is used somewhere

When I say that I feel dumb, it usually means that I'm in awe at how much complexity can be tamed, and I feel far from being able to do that. Maybe I should just word it that way next time

One can argue that 3 developers is also not the same as one developer multiplied by three, I'm not sure if incorrect use of temperature improves the joke or spoils it
Makes me wonder what were legitimate uses datetime authors mentioned existed for if time: meaning if time is not None and also not a midnight in UTC. I would kinda understand for non UTC, and maybe there are uses for date libraries' internals, but other than thet it seems too arbitrary

Nah, what I meant is that I shave daily, but almost every time I shave with a different razor 😅
Double edge safety razors: if I had to choose only one, Rockwell 6S is enough, but they really perform different and have different feel. I mostly use four or five on a daily basis, but it is more than necessary.
Also, fountain pens: it's pretty much the same, TWSBI pen(s) would suffice, but there are too many brands and models with different look and feel, hard to choose only one. Plus in case of pens multiple ones allow for use of different inks at the same time (those I also have multiple compared to the amount that would suffice, even in the same colour)
I also met women who explained this to be because of fear for their safety, that they don't want to be around men in the toilet (or anywhere in private).
I find that maybe an overreaction, but I'm not a woman to be sure

Agreed, but regarding the second part I think there's no way to tell, and I would expect real intelligence to be even heavier on resources until we change something fundamentally, like growing neurochips out of real neurons.
