Using Kindle Paperwhite from some years as my first ebook reader, but I'm tired about the DRM stuffs and I will move to Kobo as soon it will be time to replace it.

I'm also looking for the Lemmy app for Android, but one of the nice feature I'm looking for, is the immersive interface, but the capability to hide, or make transparent the android status bar on top. I see this option in FocusRed for Reddit. Is there anything which has the same feature for Lemmy? I have tested Voyager, Connect, Eternity, and others, but I could find the immersive interface but the status bar still remains.

Maybe you are right, but the local content has been always without ads, and the generic description should be related to both, live TV and own files. It would be a non-sense to add ads to stream a local content that you can easily stream with any dlna server etc.

I think it could be a bug and I would report it. In the Pass description one of the function is the option to skip ads on local content https://www.plex.tv/plex-pass/#modal-plex-pass-features
