I never got into HP, but I could see having a tattoo I'm happy with in 20 years. I'm leaning towards some sort of cute critter on my wrist, right where I bite when I get overwhelmed. I've tried temporary tattoos there and they help break that cycle: I don't want to bite a tiny dino or whatever. (Obligatory Yes, I have a therapist, no, this doesn't come up that often. )
smh
Isn't Canada essential for most of the USA's toilet paper supply?
Not neurotypical, but yes, I do chew on them.
I ended up going with silicone straws in my household. Mine open up down the side so you can run your finger up them for easy cleaning.
The metal and hard plastic ones suck for chewing on.
I really just want to know where the bathrooms and sitting areas are.
I had no problem viewing the site on lynx. I wonder what their list of allowed browsers is. It's bizarre.
I'm with you on this one.
Nah, it's fine to ask for help. I've helped several folks move, mostly trans discord acquaintances moving to less hostile states. I'm happy to help crowd fund a move. I'll even help pack or clean the old place if needed. I just won't carry heavy stuff up and down stairs.
My physical therapist tells me it's not that my muscles are weak, it's that my ligaments are made of boiled noodles that refuse to keep my joints in their proper place. I have a lifetime of unrecognized hypermobility to contend with. That damage to joints is cumulative. I'm not risking popping a joint out of place just to help someone move.
Snow boots that change color in the cold. I had those as a toddler and they were the coolest things ever.
I've looked up what to put on cards before, or read what other people wrote on the card as it's passed around. Signing cards can be awkward.
Yeah, I heard about that from a podcast the other day. 😞
I've got too much baggage associated with Thanksgiving. Among other things, it's when my mom blew up at me and told me we shouldn't see each other, outside of funerals. (She is now confused about why I don't visit, outside of funerals.)
Also, the American colonists overall were dicks to the indigenous folks, and the popular treatment of Thanksgiving helps paper over that history, or maybe that's just where I grew up.
