Damn. Lawrence is taking that godfather aesthetic a little too far.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of his, but he's quick and has had some great overtakes were he just won't quit for several corners.

I guess they make this decision from seeing something in data we don't get, but it seems harsh to drop Lawson after two tracks he's never raced at and right before the track he knows quite well. He himself said on his recent Beyond the Grid episode that the first half of the season is rough for him, but the back-half he's much more confident about.

  • New car.
  • Wet, new to him Melbourne. With car issues.
  • New to him Shanghai.
  • No substitute lined up (I wish Yuki. I wish so much pal)

He'll be given time as long as he doesn't take out Max.

Bullshit. Drivers are drivers, not role models. Why should we expect them to be exemplars of morals, and experts of cultural sensitivity? We don't expect them to be well educated, great parents or philosophers.

Let them drive fast.

Those are used to replace "and" obviously.

“The FIA wishes to further confirm that during the Melbourne event all cars tested against the requirements of Article 3.15.17 and found to comply, therefore all cars raced in Melbourne were deemed to be legal.”

According to the article, and the FIA statement, none are guilty. I assume the "sufficient grounds" is that no-one needs additional time to meet the stricter requirements.

Is it too soon to predict a mid-season swap between Yuki and Lawson, Yuki performs consistent points finishes to be the number 2 Red Bull have been searching for, he remains at Red Bull for many years while Horner loudly grumbles until he retires?

Yeah... Tramnitz is getting a Red Bull seat before Yuki.

It's always constructors standings from the previous season. The difference this year is splitting Red Bull to ensure the drivers champion is last.

On Savage Shores: How Indigenous Americans Discovered Europe by Caroline Dodds Pennock

It's an interesting subject, but not a gripping read. Pushing through to free up a 'currently reading' slot for A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers.
