As someone who lives in the US, I don't even want to travel outside, unless I'm planning on not coming back.

Strong rumors of Valve's new VR launching this year. Quite excited for that. Otherwise, the status (in my opinion) is stagnant. I still have fun occasionally getting into VR though.

I've had a lot of fun with Roboquest.

Sanctum 1 & 2 are fun fps mixed with tower defence.

Deep Rock Galactic is fantastic, like others have mentioned.

I'm a fan of Antarctic pyramids, simply because that would be sick.

I agree, though here's my anecdote from the PNW.

We've had a couple storms this winter. One of them I lost power for 4 hours, but a friend of mine in the next town over was out 4 days. And some didn't lose at all, so it varies. Power outages like this aren't too rare every year.

It doesn't bode well for our freezers, but we don't get cold enough to be anything other than cold and inconvenient. Easily remedied by temporary solutions you mentioned.

It's not a spoken language, but I love the script from Tunic. It was a blast deciphering it. Spoilers ahead of you look into it. Highly recommend the game.

That's an interesting thought. In the slow system we might've been boiled like a frog, but now that things are changing much faster, we may be able to jump out of the water before we die.

I just watched one where House extracted fluid from a leg growth, then from across the room he 360 no scope squirted it into patient's daughter's mouth.

I spent way to long thinking it was "How to make Scorpion man miss you". Thought I was gonna get stung.
